What we’ve found is that most working professionals find it hard to stay fit with their already busy lifestyles. As their careers progress so too do their weight and waistlines. At the same time, their energy levels are waning, their strength is declining, and their overall health and well-being are heading in the wrong direction.

Many of them recognize the decline and have real concerns about how it’s affecting their daily lives. Everyday activities that should be easy are becoming a chore, and some find that they’re too out of shape to participate in their favorite active hobbies without being exhausted afterward or popping ibuprofen to deal with the pain.

What they really want is to lose weight, tone up, and feel more confident and comfortable in their clothes…and out of them. They want to be energized all day at work and still have plenty left when they get home. Ultimately, they want to reclaim their vitality and take control of their health…now and long into the future.

Being the hard-working and committed people they are, coupled with the desire for a quick solution, they join weight loss challenges, buy a Pelton, or do random workouts from social media influencers to target trouble spots.  Unfortunately, results are negligent or short-lived.

What they really need is a professionally-designed program that meets them where they are … led by a coach who understands their individual needs … in a community of like-minded and supportive people on a similar journey.  Only then will they finally be able to break through their plateau, stick with a program that they truly enjoy, and achieve the life-transforming results they desire.


WHY ARE WE CALLED “TWO WOLVES FITNESS”?

There is a tale about an elderly Cherokee who was telling a story to his grandson about life. “Grandson, there is a battle going on inside of all of us. There is a bad wolf that is filled with anger and hate and doubt and fear. But there’s also a good wolf that is filled with happiness and positivity and joy and commitment. And those wolves tear at us every single day.”

The grandson asks “WHICH WOLF WILL WIN?”  The grandfather replies “THE ONE THAT YOU FEED.”

HOW DOES THIS STORY APPLY TO YOUR LIFE?

This is a very powerful and moving story when you stop and think about it. While it relates to all aspects of life, we can’t disregard how much these “wolves” battle inside of us when it comes to our health and fitness. Ultimately, we are in charge of our own day and all of the decisions we make. We can begin our day with a negative mindset, not wanting to make good food choices, not exercising or whatever is feeding the bad wolf. Or we can have a positive attitude, choose to make healthy decisions or whatever is feeding the good wolf. Which Wolf will you feed?

I have been working out with Dave at Two Wolves Fitness for almost a year now. The group classes were somewhat challenging when I first started out. Once you get accustomed to the individual exercises it’s gets a bit easier, but I still leave tired. Which is the point, right? The workouts vary and I don’t think they have ever repeated, so you don’t get into a rut. The groups are great. There are a lot of very nice people who all have the same mindset. It’s not the sort of gym where people are going to a gym to be seen. This is about doing your workout, having fun while doing it, and reaching your goals. Over the time I have been working out I have lost a fair bit of weight but more importantly significantly lowered my cholesterol, triglycerides, and blood pressure. I attribute that to the circuit training and the nutrition tips that Dave shared. So, if you are looking for a place for small group fitness classes, I would definitely recommend Two Wolves Fitness.
